The mission of Sierra Harm Reduction Coalition (SHRC) is to empower and help our disadvantaged community and help build a strong Recovery-Ready environment within El Dorado County. Sierra Harm Reduction Coalition strongly believes there are no wrong doors to treatment and recovery, and through our services we are an integral as of these doors.

We believe in the safety of our community. We respect the rights and autonomy of people who use drugs.

Our amazing people behind the scenes have different backgrounds and experiences that have helped build connections with people who come and reach us.

Without judgment, we “meet people where they are at” and provide harm reduction services free of charge to the people who use drugs and support for their wellbeing.

SHRC is dedicated to Harm Reduction in the El Dorado County community. Harm Reduction is a proven set of practical strategies and ideas to reduce damaging consequences associated with drug use.
